Last Updated: 01 October 2025

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the online platform operated under the domain LEGALPDF.CO (the "Platform"), owned and managed by AVITECH INVESTMENTS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales ("the Company", "we", "our", or "us").

1.2 By accessing or using the Platform, you ("User", "you") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

1.3 The Platform provides a technological service that enables the generation of structured PDF and related digital documents from users' communications (emails or WhatsApp chats) for lawful documentation and archiving purposes.

1.4 The Platform does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or any service constituting legal practice. It is a technical tool only, designed to support document extraction, formatting, and organization.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

"Account" means a registered profile created by a User or Lawyer on the Platform.

"Lawyer" means a verified legal professional registered on the Platform and authorised to allocate document creation credits to Users.

"User" means an individual who has been granted a valid credit code by a Lawyer to generate a document using the Platform.

"Credit" means an access token issued by a Lawyer through the Platform that enables one document creation.

"Document" means any file generated by the Platform from email or WhatsApp data, including PDF, HTML, or ZIP formats.

"Third Parties" refers to integrated service providers, including Google LLC, Microsoft Corporation, and Meta Platforms Inc.

"Services" means all functionalities available on LEGALPDF.CO, including data extraction, PDF generation, editing, and document delivery.

"Data" means any content, information, or communication retrieved or uploaded through the Platform.

3. Eligibility and Access

3.1 The Platform is available only to Users who have received a valid Credit from a registered Lawyer on the Platform.

3.2 Users may access the Platform only via supported email providers: Google (Gmail or Google Workspace) and Microsoft (Outlook or Hotmail).

3.3 Private or unsupported email domains are not permitted for authentication or document generation.

3.4 The Platform's accessibility features provide basic support for users with disabilities; however, enhanced accessibility options may be limited.

3.5 Access to the Platform may be suspended or terminated at any time for breach of these Terms, abnormal activity, or non-compliance with applicable law.

4. Account Registration and Verification

4.1 Lawyers are required to register using a verified professional email (Gmail or Outlook).

4.2 Upon registration, Lawyer accounts undergo verification, including review of firm name, website, and contact information.

4.3 Once approved, Lawyers may receive initial complimentary Credits and may purchase additional Credits through the Platform.

4.4 Users do not create independent accounts; their access is derived from Credit Codes issued by their respective Lawyers.

5. Use of Services

5.1 Email-to-PDF Generation

(a) Users provide two email addresses:

  • their authorised Gmail or Outlook address, and
  • the correspondent's email address.

(b) The User then logs in securely through the relevant email provider and submits the Credit Code received from their Lawyer.

(c) Upon successful verification, the Platform connects—via secure API integration—to the User's mailbox with read-only access, retrieving email conversations with the specified correspondent.

(d) The User may review and exclude specific emails before finalizing the Document.

(e) Once generated, the Document appears in both the User's and the Lawyer's dashboards and remains stored temporarily until both parties complete their downloads.

(f) When the User downloads their copy, their Account and related data are immediately deleted. Once the Lawyer downloads the same Document, it is permanently erased from our servers.

5.2 WhatsApp-to-PDF Generation

(a) WhatsApp chats are processed only through LegalPDF's authorised bot.

(b) The process cannot be performed via WhatsApp Web—only via the mobile WhatsApp application.

(c) Users export chat histories (with or without media) as ZIP files and send them to the LegalPDF Bot as instructed.

(d) The Platform then converts the exported data into:

  • A formatted PDF file (text only),
  • An HTML version with media links, and
  • A ZIP archive containing all attachments.

(e) The same download, storage, and deletion process described in Clause 5.1 applies.

(f) Voice message transcription is offered as a convenience feature only and may fail due to third-party or hardware limitations. The Company accepts no responsibility for accuracy or completeness of such transcriptions.

6. Data Storage, Retention and Deletion

6.1 All generated Documents are stored temporarily and only until both the User and the associated Lawyer have completed their downloads.

6.2 Once both downloads are complete, the Document and all related data are permanently deleted from the Company's servers.

6.3 The User's Account is automatically deleted upon document download, requiring full re-registration for any subsequent use.

6.4 The Company does not access or review message content for any purpose other than automated processing required to generate the Document.

6.5 No personal data or document content is shared with any external entity except as required for integrations described herein.

8.2 The password is displayed upon download, copied to the clipboard, and also sent to both the User's and the Lawyer's registered email addresses.

8.3 In the event a password is lost, Users may contact legalpdf.mail@gmail.com or +44-7548-255-377 for identity verification and password re-issuance.
